With London Fashion Week just around the corner, the hotly tipped designers of the future are getting ready to showcase their exciting and innovative collections in front of the world’s press and fashion industry.
One of these new designers is Isatu Harrison, whose brand Izelia recently launched at Africa Fashion Week London to great applause. Isatu draws on her Sierra Leonean heritage to create a modern and sophisticated range of ready to wear pieces in materials as diverse as sexy stretch denim and luxurious silk chiffon. African wax prints with contemporary cuts are a feature of the debut collection.
With a look for every occasion, fashion from Izelia can brighten up your every day wardrobe as well as add flair to a more dressy outfit! Izelia pieces include military inspired jumpsuits and dresses in both elegant floor length and chic fitted styles, putting a new twist on African-inspired fashion. To compliment her upcoming show, which will have emphasis on the street style of the Izelia brand, Isatu has partnered with just launched Australian accessories house Fortriu.
After recently launching their label in Sydney Australia, Fortriu are passionate about providing the latest trends in headwear and are excited to be showcasing their brand to all of London and the world alike with Izelia this sptember. Fortriu’s inaugural range labelled the ‘Original Series’ will be showcased throughout the show.
